Bumblebees may play by rolling tiny wooden balls
In a lab, bumblebees chose to leave a clear path and roll small wooden balls even when there was no food reward. Some returned again and again; one bee rolled balls 117 times.
A bee found a little ball and apparently decided: yes, this is part of my day now.
