Chinstrap penguins can nap more than 10,000 times a day
Nesting chinstrap penguins were recorded sleeping for about four seconds at a time. With hundreds of these microsleeps each hour, they still collected roughly twelve hours of sleep a day.
One long sleep was apparently too ordinary, so they made it a ten-thousand-part series.
