A small cumulus cloud can weigh about a million pounds
The U.S. Geological Survey estimates that an average one-kilometer-wide cumulus cloud weighs about 1.1 million pounds. Its water is spread through a huge volume as tiny droplets.
It looks like a pillow. It is secretly carrying a million pounds of water.
