A gecko's grip comes from millions of tiny hairs
A gecko's toe pads are covered with microscopic hairs called setae. Together they create enough molecular attraction to hold the lizard on smooth walls and even ceilings without liquid glue.
No glue. Just a great many tiny hairs taking the wall seriously.
