Kintsugi repairs a cracked bowl with lacquer and gold
In Japanese kintsugi, lacquer is used to join broken ceramic pieces and fill the cracks. After the repair is stable, fresh lacquer is brushed over the lines and sprinkled with powdered gold.
The bowl came back with gold seams and a very good new outfit.
