A red panda holds bamboo with a wrist bone that acts like a thumb
The red panda has an enlarged wrist bone called a pseudo-thumb. It presses against the paw and helps the animal grasp bamboo while eating.
It is not technically a thumb, but the bamboo appears satisfied with the arrangement.
