Candle snuffers gave old candlewicks a tidy trim
Scissor-shaped snuffers cut away the burnt end of a candlewick. Their small enclosed box caught the clipped piece, and a matching tray collected any loose wax flakes.
The candle got a trim, and the little tray caught the crumbs.
