An ancient blue feeding cup carries a parade of animals
This small Egyptian faience cup was shaped so milk could be fed to a baby. Lions, a snake, a turtle and a long-necked creature decorate its bright blue sides as protective figures.
Even the smallest cup received a lion, a turtle and a whole protective procession.
