Iapetus wears a mountain ridge around its middle
A chain of mountains follows the equator of Saturn's moon Iapetus. Parts of this ridge stand about ten kilometers high, while one side of the moon is much darker than the other.
A dark side, a bright side, and a mountain belt exactly between north and south.
