Dark Umbriel has one mysterious bright ring
Umbriel reflects only about sixteen percent of the light that reaches it. Against that dark surface, Voyager 2 found a bright ring roughly 140 kilometers wide, perhaps made of frost around a crater.
The whole moon keeps the lights low, except for one pale circle no one has fully explained.
