An Ovenbird weaves a roof over its nest
The female weaves a dome of dead leaves, grass, stems and bark on the forest floor. A small entrance opens at the side, making the nest look like an old outdoor bread oven.
A little forest bird built a front door and a roof, then lent the house its name.
