Weaver ants sew leaves together with silk from their larvae
Workers form chains with their bodies to pull leaves into place. Then one ant carries a silk-making larva back and forth along the edges, joining them into a leafy nest.
The adults hold the leaves; the youngest ant supplies the thread.
