Frigatebirds take tiny naps while soaring
Brain recordings showed that frigatebirds can sleep in flight, usually for only seconds at a time. Sometimes one half of the brain rests; occasionally both halves do.
Wide wings, rising air, and a twelve-second nap above the ocean.
