A light shelf can send daylight deeper into a room
The horizontal shelf sits across a tall window and reflects sunlight upward onto the ceiling. The bright ceiling spreads softer light farther inside while the shelf shades the lower glass.
One bright ledge gives the daylight a longer trip.
